I was initiated as a
Pumpamasaq (Priest of Pachamama) by Maria Apaza, 98 year old Qero Elder who is the Priestess of the Andes mountains where I continued his training in Peru. My intention is to pray, listen, and bring harmony to the people and sacred sites.
I use integrative teachings from Quechua teachers, alongside studies from Epigenetic's, Somatic therapy, and most importantly the wisdom that has been gifted to me by creator, plant allies, and deep listening. I combine these diverse teachings to create a healing space filled with laughter, dance, prayer, song, and hands on workshops
It doesn't matter what im actually offering, what matters is how its done. Everything I offer is rooted in a lineage that is as old as time. Poetic blessings from the heart using songs, Amazonian medicines of the forest to cleanse the body. Rich and heart activated Cacao pods from the jungles of the Mayan people. Prayers from lightning beings that trade the past for the present as a story for the fire to tell. Utilizing the cosmology of the land and animals in prayer in a light hearted way..
I try my best to listen to whats calling forth from these ley lines. Wether it's Sounds with didgeridoos and native flutes, or the expressions of dance that calls forth the connection of our bodies to the earth and spirits of this land, Multidimensional wisdom that I express in workshops reminding others of our DNA that holds the power within the cosmology of life.
I have traveled the world, performing at major festivals such as Envision Festival in Costa Rica and venues like The Eagles Nest in Lake Atitlán, Guatemala. I curate special offerings designed to help people connect with their hearts and the music. I am a passionate facilitator of Ecstatic Dance and Contact Dance, creating transformative experiences that blend movement and rhythm.
One of Sage's specialities is bringing people together. He has a gift of what others call a bridge builder, and a way shower. With only less than a year on Island he curated weekly events to build up a solid community. He created a bi monthy micro festival, Such as Earth Fest Kauai, and Summer roots gathering feat Paul Izak and other known musicians.
He has done everything from building teams, directing the leads, volunteers as well as operating sound and building structure such as stages and canopies out of bamboo with his main intention of sustainability staying true.
Graphic design and video editing is one of his natural gifts.
